YP Yom Ha'azmaut Event
Celebrate Israel's Independence Day!
The Riverdale Jewish Project and SPS Young Professionals invite Jewish young adults to an evening with Benjamin Sklar, an American volunteer in the IDF, Wednesday April 14th at 8:15pm via Zoom.
A Lone Soldier, or Chayal Boded, is a volunteer who serves in the Israeli Defense Forces without having immediate family with him or her in Israel. We'll learn about why Benjamin fought, what it was like and how he looks back at the experience. He'll also share how the experience impacts him today as an entrepreneur and Brooklyn Law School student.
Zoom details for the event will be provided after RSVP
For more information, please email Yoel Shulman, Engagement Coordinator, Riverdale Jewish Project (RJP) at yoel@riverdalejewish.org. RJP is a Jewish young professionals group in Riverdale, and is affiliated with CSAIR (Conservative Synagogue Adath Israel of Riverdale).
