SPS Purim Carnival
Sunday, March 13, 9:30 am-1:05 pm
for birth-4th graders & families
at Sutton Place Synagogue
Join us for our IN PERSON Purim carnival, complete with carnival games, glitter tattoos, and Purim activities! Families will come at specific timeslots to allow for social distancing. We will include KNS-specific pods.
Everyone ages 2+ must wear a face mask; KN-95 or surgical masks are recommended.
Everyone ages 5+ must show proof of COVID vaccination (18+ must show booster).

Family Apple Picking:
Come join us as we go apple picking, enjoy a hayride and pumpkin patch, and share a picnic lunch at Dr. Davies Farm in Rockland County!
This event is open to SPS families, including tots, KNS families, JRS families, and beyond. Feel free to invite friends and family!

Join us for an Israeli-themed cooking night! Led by JRS and N'siyah dad Daniel Gross, we will make salad, falafel, tahini dip and hummus together!
Don't worry about dinner--we'll be able to eat our falafel!

JRS Family Passover Program
For JRS students & their adults
Come join us for a family-oriented hands-on Passover experience during JRS! We will focus on the tastes and touches of the seder as families prepare for a Passover that is different from all other Passovers.
Gan-Kitah Bet (K-2nd grade): Will focus on matzah—includes baking! Click here for ingredient list.
Kitah Gimmel & Kitah Dalet (3rd-4th grades): Will focus on maror (bitter herb) and charoset—includes chopping! Click here for ingredient list.
Kitah Hey & Kitah Vav (5th & 6th grades): Will focus on pesach (the roasted bone/offering) and the phrase “ha lachma anya” (let all who are hungry come and eat) from the Haggada. Postcards have been mailed.
Kitah Zayin (7th grade): Will help plan and lead the programs for the other classes.

Join us for more mitzvah cooking! We will be making chili with JRS dad, Daniel Gross, to donate to community fridges to feed people in need around Manhattan.
